Bio

My first foray into business was at age 16 when I started Two Brothers and a Lawn Mower with... my brother. A little Clip Art and direct mail led to busy summers in the suburbs. We had a solid run but ultimately regretted the customer acquisition tactic of free dog poop pick-up.

Since then, I've been a porter, bartender, courier, distillery tour guide, and attempted to sell my own Cubs T's outside Wrigley (still have a couple hundred to shed - plz inquire within). Somewhere in between all that, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and started a career in sales and marketing. I am currently helping to build at Flicket, a company bringing flexible ticketing options to fans and venues.

I have over 15 years experience in sales working with startups, mid-market, enterprise, universities, and municipalities selling mainly marketing and tech services.

In my most recent venture, I co-founded Meter Beaters, Chicago's only app to display free parking throughout the city. By leading marketing and customer acquisition, we garnered over 75,000 users and some pub from the Chicago Tribune, Chicagoist, and Chicago Ideas Week. Many factors led to ultimately suspending services in February of 2017 - including the City of Chicago killing thousands of free parking spaces which we consider friends.
